@ Tom and Michelle- In Response to your question-- "What is Crossfit to Me?"--it seems appropriate as we celebrate Marc's 41st birthday, to say Crossfit has been both a life changer and a life saver. One year ago (10 months ago really) there is no way Marc or I could possibly have performed this WOD. You guys have been incredible trainers, motivators, and friends. We can not say THANK YOU enough for what you do every day in the box. I truly believe Crossfit has added quality and quantity to our lives. Really need to have Marc remind you of all the health issues he used to have--high cholesterol, bad ankles, etc... Issues are gone now and we are having a blast with our friends and family!

Jorge

Crossfit to me is everything Tom said plus Manpris!!! :-)

lucy

Crossfit means sanity..... challenges, fun and often pain shared with friends, which enable me to leave the box a 'little' bit saner than when I arrived! You all rock!

SnoRidge CrossFit

Love it! Although Jorge's is the most.....unique.

World Class Fitness In 100 Words

  • Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, clean and jerk, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, paralettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports.
