*Like the song the “12 Days of Christmas”, complete each exercise in ascending order then work back down, adding one exercise per round.
Ex. On the 1st day of Xmas, my coaches gave to me, one Sumo Deadlift High Pull; on the 2nd day of Xmas my coaches gave to me, 2 Thrusters and 1 SDHP; on the 3rd day of Xmas, my coaches gave to me, 3 Push Press, 2 Thrusters, and 1 SDHP; etc.

Lots of classes and a tinsel turnout for the Christmas WOD yesterday (48 Elves on Shelves)! Almost everyone managed to workout along with the 12 Days of Christmas without getting lost somewhere by day 7 or 8.  Starting with a “barbell complex” where the sequence of movements quickly progress together this one snowballs into a time crunch at the end as the bodyweight movements pile up to make you feel like you are pulling Santa’s sleigh solo by the end.

The Teens class knocked out their version of the 12 Days of Christmas WOD tonight! Theirs was similar to the main gym version with a slight shuffling of some movements and a couple swapped out. It was still tough and they all gave it a big thumbs up! 😉

Yep. Coach Rob. Tonight he coached his first class, and according to him “It went okay! Everyone managed to lift weights and do a workout and go home!” Sooooo success!
Both Peter S. and Rob W. have now coached their first classes very successfully (Shay will also coach solo soon) and we’re excited that they will all continue to jump in, gain experience, and give all of us a fresh perspective as new coaches.

Negan came to oversee the ass kicking today for our annual Frankenchipper! For those who made it out and avoided “Lucille” we also had our 9th annual Halloween Party later that night.
Such a great turnout for both events and a really good time. Thanks to everyone for making it what it is! Love seeing the costumes and creativity that comes out each year.

When: 10/28 Saturday at 9:30am (we will run waves as needed). NO ADVANCED CLASS!

What: Our favorite WOD and SRCF tradition of the year. This SRCF annual tradition is the costume-required “Frankenchipper”! This workout is a combination of benchmark “Girls” WOD’s. Like Frankenstein the 2.0 version is a mash-up of “Fran”, “Angie”, “Kelly” and “Eva”.

Any teens in Lynn’s class can also dress up Saturday and they will do their own Frankenchipper at 10:30!

In memory of Sam Saimo, 21, of Snoqualmie, WA, who died on August 20, 2016. Sam was a beloved member of SnoRidge CrossFit. He is survived by his parents, Dan and Jeannie; brother Will; and sister Julia. With heavy hearts we offer our prayers and condolences to his family, friends and loved ones.
Carrying the ball signifies carrying Sam with you. Do not put him down. He loved running, heavy deadlifts and rope climbs. Climbing to 20 feet puts you a little closer to him. 
Scale 1 Rope Climb (20 ft.) to a lower height or to 3 Supine Rope Climbs. Adjust deadlift appropriately. 
We will program this WOD annually going forward to honor Sam.

We had a great turnout for Sam’s memorial Workout on Saturday with 48 people all carrying Sam with them in their hearts and also in their hands with their med ball. An emotional morning for me and for so many; it was particularly great for me to see the Saimo family (Dan and Will) come out to join us and see everyone. It was a morning about love and family; and also a morning of remembrance. Sam is always with us and we miss him everyday.
This year with the new version of Sam’s shirt we are hoping to raise around $1200-$1400 to go towards the scholarship fund in his name. As soon as the shirts arrive we will let everyone know.
