* NO dropping of Dumbbells allowed. Any DB dropped = round of snatches are a no rep and athlete will begin the whole round over.

READ Carefully:

1) Perform burpee box jump overs facing perpendicular to the box. No angle or sideways burpee allowed. Tape line perpendicular thru box.
2) Two footed takeoff on jump.
3) DB Snatch must set BOTH heads back on ground to count. Only one hand can snatch DB (no two handed snatch).
4) Athlete can NOT touch their non-lifting hand to their body. (i.e. you cannot put your resting hand on your leg while snatching with other hand). This is a No Rep.
5) Tie Breaker time must be recorded by the judge after EACH set of burpee box jumps.

Open 21.1

The Open is underway! While I never anticipated that we would include a common warm-up movement into a 15 min WOD, it was still a very demanding workout that shoulder endurance, speed on your hands, and double under skill.  

If you haven’t submitted your results you have until Monday at 5pm PST.  If you haven’t gone yet you will need to sign up for a class prior to 5pm PST on Monday and get your score submitted for it to count. Don’t miss the deadline!

With the recent move to Phase 3 we will plan to allow people to “spectate” Friday Night Lights but make sure you wear your masks.

This year COVID and Santa Inslee brought yet another altered version of the “12 Days” WOD with an outdoor version and an “@home” version with a few new movements after the barbell complex that added power snatches and took out thrusters.  The at home version combined several movements that could be done with either a kettlebell or dumbbell.

Our Christmas wish is to never have to program an @home version again. Here’s to a happy and healthy holidays and 2021!
